Les Routiers, the essential hospitality guide that identifies the very best hotels, restaurants and bars, have recently announced the winners of their annual awards. Les Routiers had 10 award categories to fill, and we are pleased to announce that two Gourmet Society partner restaurants took up places on the winners list!

The Restaurant of the Year Award went to The Copper Horse Restaurant in Seamer, North Yorkshire, where GS members can receive 2-4-1 on up to 3 courses.

The Copper Horse proudly takes home this prestigious award for the second time, having won Restaurant of the Year back in 2008 as well.

Another GS restaurant, Timberlake’s Bistro and Restaurant in Harrogate, picked up an award for Newcomer Restaurant of the Year.

Competition is said to have been fierce, but the winners consistently demonstrated exceptional service, hospitality and quality of food throughout the year.

Speaking on behalf of Les Routiers, Allie Philpin said: “We’ve had such good feedback from the many fans of our nominees, together with outstanding performances by all, that it has made the judging process this year one of the toughest we’ve ever encountered”.

The Gourmet Society is very proud of its two winning restaurants, and would like to congratulate them on their success!
