Caf? Rouge is the UK's premier French restaurant brand with an all day offer of classic French dishes and wines. The first restaurant opened in 1989 and over the years Caf? Rouge has developed an iconic status, such that it is now the most recognised and successful French restaurant brand in the UK. The bulk of the 105 restaurant strong estate is focused in the South, however, with successful sites in the North and Scotland, Caf? Rouge has proven its national appeal. Open all day, Caf? Rouge serves breakfast lunch and dinner, as well as catering for those who are popping in for a passing snack, a bottle of wine or a moment to themselves with a cappuccino and the paper. The dinner menu offers some favourite French classics, with onion soup, mussels and chicken liver parfait all on offer. You can then move on to smoked Toulouse sausages and mash, corn fed chicken with Roquefort and cream sauce or boeuf Bourguignon and French beans. But steaks are what Caf? Rouge are really proud of. Offering some really interesting French cuts such as the Bavette marinated in rosemary and garlic to give that true Gallic experience. The Menu Pour les Enfants give children plenty to choose from with all the dishes analysed by an independent nutritionist to ensure they are well balanced. All dishes all come with a choice of vegetable or salad as well as fruit for dessert to ensure they get their five a day.
