The inspiration behind Five Rivers is to bring something new, fresh and vibrant on to the British Indian dining scene. In order to achieve this revolution, the proprietors went back to the roots of Indian cuisine. Studying all aspects of Indian food in the different regions of India. This led to a magical discovery that in Britain, we had not even touched or tasted the flavours that the Indian Subcontinent holds. Indian cooking is about theatre, professional cooks showing off their skills in front of an audience, using equipment and cooking utensils especially developed over centuries to enhance the flavours of the food.
