Their Chef has created a delicious yet uncomplicated menu that focuses on letting the very best of local ingredients speak for themselves. Wherever possible their produce is local and seasonal and all their dishes are freshly prepared on the premises, a rare thing today and something they are very proud of. This philosophy means you get to taste produce at its best. They have carefully crafted the menu to include the delicious produce on offer during the autumn and winter months. Sample the delights of the local Bramley apples in their home-made apple sauce, their baked apple and sultana strudel or in their Roast stuffed belly pork from Sherwood Forest Farm with fresh apple sauce. Their pork is sourced from Sherwood Forest Farm Park which was approved by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust for the breeding of rare and protected farm animals. They have a very extensive wine list and all their drinks are fair-trade. With locally-sourced meat and seasonal vegetables, the Hemlock Stone's passion is to become synonymous with 'fresh', 'local' and 'seasonal'.
