A sixteenth century cottage in the heart of Sherwood Forest, the Maid Marian Restaurant is full of charm with a lovely outlook over the village church and green. Maid Marian has recently been taken over by the charming Alison and Alain. Alison a local girl has been able to lure Alain from the far flung shores of Bretagne where he learnt the art of first class cooking. There can be few better themes for a restaurant than a beautiful setting, friendly service and 1st rate genuine French cooking by a Frenchman. Having sampled Alain's cooking it's no wonder they are creating quite a stir in Sherwood Forest.
