Love it, love it, love it. Try and you will not be disapointed. My particular reccomendation is the ostrich starter which was tender, pink and beautifully spiced(sourced from derby, too!). Nice to see a curry house serving something different but authentic. Oh, and the pickle tray is the best I've had. Yum Yum.

Have always enjoyed going to Memsaab for its delicious authentic food and now it has a charming warmth created by refurbished carpets and soft furnishings.

One of the Finest Indian Restaurants we've had the pleasure of eating at. The imaginative menu takes Indian Cuisine to a new level with attentive friendly staff. We were particularly impressed when asked if we would like a jug of tap water with our meal. This was served with Ice and Lemon, free of charge and refilled without having to ask again. As Severn Trent Water was recently judged as one of the finest in the Country, this was a real bargain! Seriously, a fine restaurant highly recommended with excellent food.

Memsaab has won awards since it's doors first opened and I have been a fan for years. All the staff are very eager to please and nothing is too much trouble. The food is fantastic, and served at a nice pace so you don't feel that you are rushed however busy the restaurant is. Even on a Monday evening it has a nice social feel to it. Just one word of warning they do count the poppadoms as a starter, so if you order both you will pay full price for the starters instead of getting one free!!! Once you have been, you will be back again and again!!!
