The Belper Arms is one of those little pubs that characterises an area and draws people in. It is distinguished by a marvellous interior, and a great variety of ales. One of the oldest pubs in Leicestershire, parts of it date back to circa 1290, and inside it is full of interesting memorabilia.

You will feel at home the minute you step in through the door as the pub brings a very friendly crowd, serves great food as well as a great selection of beers and all at great prices.

Besides all this, The Belper Arms is also claimed to have its own ghost: 'Five To Four Fred' is the 'alternative spirit' to be found at the bar. He is said to be from the Civil War and apparently he has ghostly eye for the ladies.
