The Olive Tree, a cosy hotel in Nottingham City Centre that has been a long time favourite of the Gourmet Society, has changed a lot over the years. Under new management the name changed from 'Yardleys' to 'The Olive Tree' but keeps the spirit and quality that has always been synonymous with its name. The Olive Tree always serves up a selection of delicious tapas on Friday and Saturday nights (with plans to open on other evenings shortly) which is proving to be very popular with Nottingham residents in the know. The Olive Tree is the place to go for traditional Spanish dishes such as green olives stuffed with sun dried tomatoes, Spanish chicken in a special sauce and the ever popular calamari. With its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, The Olive Tree is a great place to have an informal lunch or a spicy evening meal.
