A delightfully quaint eatery that can be found in The Broadway on Mill Road, the Black Cat Café offers all of the scrumptious fare served in a typical café of Australia or New Zealand. It is also a fabulous place in which to enjoy the quintessentially British pastime that is the Afternoon Tea, which is available to Gourmet Society members at a superb discount when they call in advance and produce their card upon arrival.

Upon entering the venue, customers are invited to sit back and relax as the superb service team do their best to ensure that when it’s time to go, guests leave with a smile. Their satisfaction is also firmly in the mind of the chefs, who create an array of the most exquisite treats, including a medley of delicate finger sandwiches of various fillings, a collection of elegant and colourful cakes, and a lip-smacking assortment of scones, which come complete with the expected jam and clotted cream, helping to make for a wonderful afternoon indulgence. All of such are brought to the table on marvellous three-tiered stands and are to be washed down by the diner’s choice of tea or coffee – rounding off the experience in style.

Be it for a pleasant afternoon repast with the significant other or a catch up with some close friends, an afternoon tea at the Black Cat Café is fit to suit the needs of any party.
