Located within the stylish Roxburgh Hotel in Edinburgh, Afternoon Tea at the George Street Bar & Grill is a delightful affair. Afternoon tea has seen a big resurgence in the past few years and is a very quintessentially British occasion filled with tradition and ceremony. Taking place in the decadent Samovar Lounge at George Street Bar & Grill, guests are treated to an very refined afternoon tea.
Beautifully presented tiered stands are delivered to tables laden with sweet and savoury delights. Delicate finger sandwiches include fillings such as hot smoked salmon with dill crème fraiche whilst freshly baked plain and fruit scones are accompanied by lashings of strawberry preserve and thick clotted cream. Sweet treats such as milk and white chocolate profiterole and lemon drizzle cake are cooked to perfection and are as fresh as can be. There are various fine leaf teas to choose from ranging from black teas to white teas and herbal teas to fruit teas and for those special occasions, a glass of bubbly adds a real sparkle.
Named after a Russian teapot, the Samovar Lounge at George Street Bar and Grill is the perfect location for an afternoon tea, offering a relaxed yet elegant style.
