Sat on York Road in the picturesque Selby village of Skipwith, amidst acres of beautiful North Yorkshire countryside and just a stone’s throw away from the picturesque Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve, The Drovers Arms is a warm and welcoming establishment that offers all of the charm expected of a village pub.
Found just 10 miles south of the historic city of York, the venue is able to offer a wonderfully tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city living. This is particularly apparent for Gourmet Society members, who are able to enjoy in the quintessentially British pastime that is the Afternoon Tea at a fantastic price when they call in advance with their card.
When partaking in that which is perhaps the most traditional of mid-day treats, diners at The Drovers Arms are invited to sit back and relax as the superbly attentive service team brings out tiered stands of the most exquisite treats. On such, a selection of delicate finger sandwiches are joined by a collection of elegant cakes and the scrumptious favourite that is the scone, which comes complete with clotted cream and preserves, make for a wondrous assortment that is fit for any lunchtime appetite.
