Sat on Victoria Road in the town of Wallasey, a mere stone’s throw away from the banks of the River Mersey and a number of spectacular views across the Irish Sea, the New Brighton Hotel makes for a wondrous escape for those looking to enjoy a spot of relaxation. Be they staying overnight in one of the luxury bedrooms, or looking for a couple of hours of rest and recuperation in their exquisite on-site Stag Restaurant, all are to be offered a warm welcome.

The invitation is extended to Gourmet Society members, who are able to partake in the oh so quintessentially British tradition that is Afternoon Tea with a fabulous discount, providing they call in advance and produce their card upon arrival. All of the usual favourites are available the New Brighton Hotel, with a wealth of elegant finger sandwiches and delectable cakes and pastries being joined by the scrumptious treat that is the scone, which of course comes complete with the fine additions of clotted cream and preserves. Washing all of such down in the well-established afternoon tea style is the diner’s choice of tea, coffee or, for the particularly extravagant occasion, a glass of fizz.

Sat just a short drive away from the fantastic Wallasey Golf Club, the idyllic Birkenhead Park, and the iconic Albert Dock, afternoon tea at the New Brighton Hotel provides the perfect excuse for a pre or post round bite, or a bit of respite amidst a day of exploration.
