Steakhouse

Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill is one of only two steakhouses in the world owned by the infamous Marco Pierre White. With a smart casual dress code, this glamorous Chelsea establishment serves steak and other classic English dishes to locals, tourists and the odd celebrity. Kings Road Restaurant & Grill is open for lunch and dinner and always buzzing with activity.

Diners looking for a fine dining experience and a fantastic steak can't go wrong here. The restaurant's head chef Safi Benslimane grills various cuts of steak with a choice of side dishes and sauces including Café de Paris butter, peppercorn or béarnaise. The beef all comes from the same producer and is dry-aged to perfection.

Other mains include some lovely grilled fish options including tranche of wild salmon served with prawns and beurre blanc or a dish of tuna à la Sicilienne with lemon and black olives. Pork belly, corn-fed chicken and braised boeuf Bourguignon offer meaty alternatives to the steak and there is always a vegetarian special for any herbivores. Some wonderful cocktails and an extensive wine list complement the wonderfully classic menu.

In the heart of Chelsea, Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill is most easily accessed from Sloane Square station and then by hopping on any of the buses heading down Kings Road. South Kensington and West Brompton stations are both around a 20 minute walk away. There's road parking outside, metered until the early evening and single yellow later on.

For some serious steak and a great atmosphere, Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill is not one to be missed.
