23 Newmarket Street, Consett, Co. Durham, DH8 5LQ
The town of Consett is nestled into the folds of the Pennines, approximately 20 miles South East of Newcastle on the steep eastern bank of the River Derwent. Spice Venue is situated in the main square of this sleepy town. This modern style Indian restaurant is well regarded by our members:
"The Lamb in the Lamb Sag was tender accompanied by plenty of spinach in a tasty sauce. It was fairly mild but had plenty of flavour, and the King Prawns in the Rogan Josh were nice and fresh"
"Keema Nan - brill! Recommend it"
"The Spice Venue does very good Nan Breads - nice and crisp."
