What our members say about The Swan, Heddon on the Wall - Vintage Inns

04/10/16 visited the White Swan last night with friends and hubby, again a excellent meal with service that matched. Good menu choices all served on hot plates and a friendly smile. Will certainly be back soon.

Went Thursday 24/3/2011 early evening and the place was very quiet. Had a few drinks in the bar area first so we could take a leisurely look at the menu. The establishment is modern , laid back and i can imagine gets full of regulars.
As well as the GS card they have a Diamond card menu for members over 50 (Free registration) which is good value and includes the carvery.
The carvery did not take our fancy as the 3 roasts looked as they had been under the heat lamps all afternoon and veg looked dry.
We went for the 10 oz Rib eye steaks, at £15+ is over priced without the 2 for 1 GS deal.
The steak was very good, cooked to perfection and made a change to have wedges instead of chips.
We will return even if only for the Rib eye steak.
