The Crown in Broxbourne is a country pub and restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. The picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on the menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing the bar.
The Crown Inn has served Broxbourne for several hundred years, dating back to the 1700's. Popular with Victorian day-trippers, the inn was also used by local companies who liked their employees to play sports on the adjacent gardens. The current building was constructed in the 1930s, replacing The Old Crown Hotel, since those days they have worked hard at retaining their reputation for great hospitality and even better food.
Enjoy a spot by the roaring log-fire or make the best of the British summertime by eating alfresco in the pretty beer garden.

What our members say about The Crown, Broxbourne - Vintage Inns
My partner and I have been here a fair few times, because it is so lovely. We came here on our first date and it has been that way ever since. The food is wonderful and always fast to arrive, the staff are lovely and friendly, always attending to any needs you may have. The menu has something everyone will enjoy, and the chef works wonders in the kitchen. You can change, add remove etc anything on your chosen dish. Without a single problem or complain. We usually go on a Wednesday night so it's not too busy. The building its self is set back down a side road, facing out on to the river, with a lovely beer garden and log fire inside to suit all weathers and needs. Overall a great place, and I'll be heading there again tonight.
