The Grange Farm in Oadby is a country pub and restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. The picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on the menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing the bar.
The building which is now The Grange Farm is about 150 years old, as the name suggests the land on which it stands was originally an agricultural smallholding. It was through the brewing of locally grown barley to meet the village's demand for real ale that our building evolved into The Grange Farm.

This is one of our local restaurants/pubs. It's always a pleasure to visit either just for a drink or for a meal. We booked a table for 4 and arrived early, but out table was all ready for us. Our waitress, Lorna, was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We was extremely pleasant and happy to help. We started with a tear and share cheesy garlic bread, whilst we decided on our main courses. It was most unusual, not what we were expecting. It looked more like an open pastie with garlic cheese in the middle. Unfortunately the edges were extremely hard. So hard that some of the bits were inedible. I think maybe it was overlooked rather than how it would normally be. We then ordered our main courses. Rump steak, sea bass, beef and Merlot pie, wild boar and chorizo burger. All the meals were served well, substantial portions and very tasty. The gourmet chips, although charged at £1 extra, were lovely, light and fluffy. Puddings would have been too large for us so we ordered the mini desserts. This is a mini version of pudding and included a hot drink too. The whole evening was lovely, good food and Lorna was outstanding. I would definitely recommend eating at the Grange Farm.
