Alam Balti restaurant was established in Bebington, in Wirral, in 1996. Ever since, it has been serving authentic and very tasty Indian-Bengali cuisine to customers who return again and again. Alam Balti is stylishly decorated and offers a cosy and welcoming venue for dinner.

The Alam Balti Bebington menu features all of the classic curries that everyone knows and loves, as well as a few more adventurous options. Aside from the creamy korma and fiery vindaloo, the tandoori meats, baltis and biryanis, diners will find some other great dishes to choose from. There's a Sri Lankan coconut curry and a creamy Malayan curry made with pineapple. Chef's specials include the super spicy Naga, made with notoriously hot Bengali naga green chillies, and the very mild shahi butter chicken curry, in a honey and tomato sauce. Fried rice dishes and a few English options, including chicken nuggets and sirloin steak, ensure everyone will find something to their liking. Attentive and friendly staff are happy to advise on the menu and help diners make their decisions from the extensive menu.

Whilst Alam Balti isn't licensed, the restaurant encourages diners to bring their own wine and beer with them. There's a conveniently placed off license just next door. Alam Balti is withing walking distance of Bebington rail station. It's also close to one of Wirral's top tourist attractions, the Port Sunlight village and museum, originally built by Lever Brothers to accommodate the workers at their soap factory and now a historic model village. The banks of the River Mersey and Brackenwood Golf Course are both a short drive away too.
