The Jewel In The Crown in West Bridgford, now simply shortened to just Jewel, is making quite a stir. br> The Jewel is a good Indian restaurant in a charming suburban setting, which has a number of local regulars. The very contemporary setting with unusual and striking lighting is effective and adds a little extra to the whole dining experience. The food really hits the mark in a way that many places try to but just narrowly miss. The Jewel serves all of the traditional favourites, such as chicken byriani and lamb korma. However, for a really good night we would recommend you try any of the "special" dishes.
