Mike G.: "We went on a Thursday and it was mobbed with a great atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed. It was as if you'd stepped off the street in Paris. The staff were friendly and very clued up. We chose from two menus the set 2/3 courses are excellent value, particularly in Edinburgh at the height of the season. We had Scallops and terrine followed by and duck an all were cooked to perfection.We shared a large cheese platter. Good selection and all just ripe. We shared a delicious pudding. Wine was very good and reasonably priced. A carafe of tap water was produced without demur. A really good evening. We look forward to going again. I'd recommend booking in advance. "
