Indian

If you're looking to move beyond your local curry house, North West London's Bombay Flame restaurant offers a more sophisticated alternative for Indian cuisine. The restaurant, located between Kilburn's bustling High Road and West Hampstead's restaurant lined West End Lane, is the perfect place to sample more refined and adventurous Indian dishes, starting with their signature dish: Goan wali machli, a Southern Indian fish curry with coconut, fresh spices, peppers and coriander. Bombay Flame opened in 2007, and boasts a chef with over 20 years of experience cooking regional specialities from all over India. The décor is simple and contemporary and echoes the orange and reds of the Bombay Flame logo, hinting at the fact that yes, chilli and spices are their thing! Don't fret if you're not a chilli fiend though, as the menu offers plenty of tasty mild options, including the ever popular masala and pasanda dishes.

Thank you very much for a lovely evening. There was no fault with the food or service. Everything was perfect. My girlfriend was very sceptical about Indian food but with excellent recommendations from the staff she was very happy. The vegetable dishes were delicious especially the vegetable bhaji. The ambiance was so lovely that we lost track of time. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

This is a brilliant restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, sat us down at our reserved table. The service was prompt and the food was quality. My friends always spoke about this place but I never went in.

Now I will be always coming here. I loved the oranges and strawberries that they gave us as free compliments. Not many restaurants world provide services like this one. The food is delicious!

This was my first time at this restaurant last night. I was very impressed with the food and service. Right from the beginning there was a warm welcome, drinks served without delay, excellent starters and main dishes served quickly. The fruits in the end were so thoughtful and it got even better when the waiter offered us free complimentary drinks. He was very nice and we left with a smile. We will be back

Had a fantastic meal at Bombay Flame. Was surprised by the variety of dishes and all the waiters were really friendly. I've eaten at a few of the Indian restaurants in Kilburn and West Hampstead and this one is probably the pick of the bunch
