In the last year La Tasca has been reinvigorated with a new emphasis of focussing on fresh, Iberian-sourced ingredients resulting in a culinary 'Spanish Revolution'. Quintessentially Spanish, their fresh and exciting menu offers something for everyone. With dishes from the sea, the field and the garden, La Tasca's tapas dishes are sincerely Spanish. Antony Bennett, Executive Chef, has searched all over Spain to find the best local producers and has sourced some truly authentic produce to use in each of their new dishes. These divine ingredients include Salchichon, a traditional strong-flavoured cured sausage from Pamplona; Chorizo Herradura, cured and gently wood oak smoked meat from El Bierzo in Leon; Manchego cheese, produced by a fourth-generation family with a process passed down by their great-great grandfather, in La Mancha; and Pimenton De la Vera, a very select paprika grown in the perfect conditions of Pimenton de la Vera Do. If you haven'’t been to La Tasca for a while now's the perfect time to experience Antony'’s fantastic new menu, crafted with some of the finest produce from across Spain. Rise up and join the Spanish Revolution!

What our members say about La Tasca - Norwich

Ben B.

La Tasca is a large Spanish restaurant in the very centre of Norwich. It is very comfortable inside but could possibly be a bit crowded on a very busy night. Outdoor tables are also offered during warmer months.
We were very happy with the food. The selection was abundant as you would expect from a tapas restaurant and most of the seven dishes we tried were very flavoursome. The sangria was also very good, although I have very little to compare it with.
The service was great. We received out mains almost immediately after our starters were taken away. After we had finished eating we stayed in the restaurant for over an hour and were made to feel very welcome.
The Gourmet society card was accepted and the full 25% discount was honoured despite the waitress having to do the maths herself after the till refused to.
