Fish is a feature ingredient throughout the dishes, starters to main courses offering have plenty of fishy choices. The prawn or salmon purée dolloped onto puri (Indian fried bread) makes a scrummy starter. An entire section of Bangladesh Fish delights provides diners with plenty of ideas to how fish is best cooked using Indian spices. The individuality of dishes continues with the roop chandra, an Asian delicacy of a whole pomfret fish, marinated and shallow fried for a crispy crunch texture.
Mixed in with the specialist dishes are the well-known and much-loved curry names. From a dopiaza to a korma, or smoking hot vindaloo to a much calmer bhuna the Million Restaurant has them all.
