Narinder Pal Singh Sangha (proprietor and consultant chef) first arrived on the Scottish scene in 1982. With a commitment to serve consistently high-quality, home-style dishes he spotted the perfect site on Ayr Seafront and Ayr India was born. This Ayr institution has since garnered a great reputation as one of the most popular restaurants in the area.
The food is excellent with substantial portions, lots of flavour and little stodge. Good, proper Indian food goes with a hugely friendly welcome (despite the building's unassuming exterior) and a relaxed space to eat, with a great view across the beach and out to sea.
