Anonymous A.: "We went on a Sunday evening for a birthday celebration so it was fairly quiet. The staff were friendly and knowledgable about the (overly) extensive wine list. The mains took quite a while to arive but were good when they did. We staved off our hunger with the lovely warm bread on the table! The fine apple tart is not to be missed!
All in all lovely meal and relaxed atmosphere but I'm not convinced that the food would live up to the prices if it wasn't for a gourmet society discount.

P.S. dont't take the car - there doesn't seem to be any parking except on a badly lit side street."

Paul M.: "Booked a private dining room for a family celebration on Sunday lunchtime. The food, service and wine were first class. Great place for Sunday lunch. We also had a very good dinner in the bistro - atmosphere is very good."
