The Last Monsoon Indian Restaurant is based near the railway station in Stockport in a central location. it is a light spacious restaurant, brightly decorated, with welcoming and efficient staff, serving a fusion of cuisine from Bangladesh, India and Nepal with an interest in revealing the recipes of rural areas.
The creative dishes have been sourced by chefs who have learnt traditional techniques and recipes whilst travelling across Asia and have brought those recipes back to The Last Monsoon, Stockport to practice the traditional cooking methods whilst also adding their own modern methods. Cooking these exciting dishes and using freshest of ingredients, the kitchen team ensure the food is full of flavour and nutritious.
The Last Monsoon's extensive menu is easy to navigate, descriptive and divided into sections to enable the diner to choose exactly what they want, although the helpful and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to assist and recommend dishes to diners.
The Last Monsoon, Stockport caters to all tastes whether adventurous or a little less so, with very good choice for vegetarians, including variations of the less spicy traditional dishes. These include the aromatic and creamy passanda and their signature dishes such as shahi chingri, stir fried prawns with exotic Bengal spices.
