This small family restaurant has been around for a long time, and is still owned by Mario and his wife Tina who personally oversee everything from the kitchen to the dining room. It's an intimate and welcoming place, giving that feeling of being invited to an Italian home for dinner, with red-chequered tablecloths and old pictures and posters on the walls.

Of these, the most notable is the seafood risotto cooked in wine and vegetable stock, and pasta Michelle - chicken, vegetables and herbs in a creamy cheese sauce. Steak lovers will enjoy five different options, from the simple mushroom and tomato topping to the Milano-style served with mushrooms and onions soaked in garlic butter. To follow it all, Mario's serves home-made desserts like apple crumble, chocolate orange mousse and other favourites.
