Gianluca Z.: "I had dinner at Meridionale with my wife and we had an overall pleasant experience. The food is authentic Southern Italian. All ingredients served at our table were fresh and tasty. Service was excellent. The place is nice, nice background music and soft lights, we could have a lovely conversation without the need of raising our voice, which sadly is a rarity for many Italian restaurants in London. There is a good choice of Italian wines. Attention to details is what really pleased us: Prosecco was very cold as it should be and the frittura di paranza and arancini were served piping hot as they should be. You might think this is basics but visit other restaurants in London and think again. Pizza was real Napoletean. Home made pasta was delicious. I always wait the day after to write a review: well we digested so quickly, we felt satisfied but still energetic after dinner and we slept very well and this is a confirmation that food was cooked as it should be without unnecessary fat and freshly. The restaurant accepted Gourmet discount booking without fuss for a Saturday dinner and very transparently showed full bill and then discounted bill to us. We will definitely come back. "
