Located just down the road from the Bristol Bridge is Nova, a charming bar and restaurant that regularly hosts live music and good times. Offering an assortment of international delights, Nova makes for the ideal spot for a mid-afternoon chill out, as well as a bar bite before hitting the town.
Several dining areas are available that match all moods and occasions, from the informal bar to the slightly more formal restaurant area, as well as an al fresco outdoor seating space. Gourmet Society members can enjoy all the fantastic fare served at Nova at an excellent price when they call in advance with their card, providing those extra funds reserved for a few more drinks.
An eclectic ensemble of flavours make up the menu, with British dishes like burgers, and Moroccan wonders like pastillas. Particularly tantalising dishes include the hearty homemade beef burger, spiced with kufta and adorned with tahini sauce, the scrumptious halloumi wrap, filled with roasted aubergines, spinach and red peppers, and the delectable chicken pastille, cooked with preserved lemons and partnered with a carrot and potato mash.
Also available are an assortment of mezze bites, which make for perfect group nibbles, especially as they’re all vegan friendly. Available for one, two or three diners, the offering includes stuffed vine leaves, marinated olives, baba ganoush, falafel and a mixed leaf salad, among many other enchanting additions.
A brilliant spot morning, noon and night, Nova caters to all occasions and all tastes.
