Situated just a short walk from the seafront in Poole, Tatnum Tandoori is a classic Indian restaurant
and one of the oldest curry houses in the beautiful seaside town. The team at Tatnum Tandoori have
been in the business for many years and their experience shines through in both the service and the
delicious food served there.
The menu covers both traditional and contemporary Indian cooking with a wide range if delectable
dishes on offer. The Tatnum Tandoori chef has been part of the Indian restaurant industry for many
years and this is clearly reflected in his excellent menu. Along with many old favourites are some
rather exciting and flavourful dishes such as the amazing chicken darziling marinated in yoghurt and
herbs and grilled in the clay oven with a medium curry sauce or the original and tasty chicken kudo
with pumpkin, onion and spices. A wide range of vegetable side dishes and rice dishes accompany
dishes perfectly as well as some lovely homemade Indian breads all washed down with an ice cold
Indian beer or two.
Booth style seating offers added privacy at Tatnum Tandoori, perfect for couples out on a romantic
meal for two. The dining room is immaculately presented with fanned white linen napkins and
gleaming glassware atop crisp white tablecloths. The restaurant is conveniently close to the town
centre and the train station whilst the sea isn’t too far either.
A great option for Indian dining in Poole, Tatnum Tandoori offers excellent value for money and a
friendly and professional service.
