Affable owner Simon Delaney has been running the excellent Firbank Pub & Kitchen since 1995 and clearly knows a thing or two when it comes to offering great pub food. Located just a couple of miles from Manchester Airport and a little further from Manchester city centre, the Firbank, as it is fondly known, is a really popular local pub and eatery, offering a wonderful menu full of home cooked food and a great ambience. Open for over 20 years, Delaney has created a successful business that is at the very heart of its community.

The kitchen at The Firbank has put together a brilliant pub menu that is packed with classic dishes everyone knows and loves. Steak fans have a superb choice from the grill, all 28 day matured, cooked to order and served with onion rings, grilled tomatoes, peas, mushrooms and chunky chips. The steak and Guinness pie with mashed potatoes, mushy peas and gravy is always a winning choice as is the hickory hunters chicken with a smokey Applewood sauce and there are plenty of other classic dishes to choose from. For a lighter bite enjoy sandwiches, jacket potatoes and burgers.

A large beer garden which includes a children’s play area makes The Firbank a great choice for families whilst sports fans can enjoy major events on the big screens. The pub also plays host a live DJ’s, live music and karaoke events. Enjoy a great meal before settling down to some live music or a big game at the brilliant Firbank Pub & Kitchen in Manchester.
