The Swan Inn is one of the oldest pubs in Kidderminster town centre. Dating back to the 17th century, the building has retained a lot of its original character with wooden beamed ceilings and a welcoming, homely atmosphere. Outside, there’s also a terrace for al fresco dining and drinking. The pub and restaurant are family run and the team of staff take obvious pride in creating an excellent atmosphere for their guests.
As well as the good selection of wines and real ales behind the bar, The Swan Inn Kidderminster also serves a great range of hearty, home-cooked food at lunchtimes. On the menu diners will find a host of British pub classics including steak and ale pie, battered fish and chips, and lasagne. There’s also a chilli con carne served with rice, tortilla chips and sour cream, a variety of locally sourced steaks cooked on the grill, and a roast of the day special with all of the trimmings including homemade gravy. Diners can also build their own sandwiches and burgers, choosing from a range of sauces, fillings and breads, and smaller diners can make their choices from the children’s menu.
The Swan Inn is right in the centre of Kidderminster, just opposite the town hall and close to the town’s main shopping and nightlife spots. Kidderminster Golf Club and Brinton Park are also within walking distance. For those travelling by public transport, Kidderminster rail station is just 10 minutes’ walk away from The Swan Inn and lot of local bus routes stop right outside the pub.
