L JEFFREYS

Nottingham

We have eaten at Chatterley House on at least 4 occasions now and each time has been a real treat. The ambience has been greatly improved since the extensive refurbishment last year - the surroundings now being much more modern and comfortable. A friendly and efficient staff are always welcoming and helpful. The speed of service I have always found to be just right- neither hurried nor too slow. The choice of menu is excellent with often local top quality produce used. The chef has real pride in the food which is served and the dishes are modern, extremely tastey and of perfect proportions. I can thoroughly recommend the scallops on risotto as a starter! Even if not using the gourmet society card the 2 or 3 set course menu has a great choice and is superb value for money. It is now our firm favourite restaurant in the area and we intend to frequent the restaurant on many more occasions!
