The Oystercatcher in Climping is a country pub and restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. The picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on the menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing the bar.
The Oystercatcher is built on the site of a private house that was previously occupied by a Middle Eastern family. They left abruptly at the start of the first Gulf War in 1992, and the building was left derelict for several years before the Oystercatcher came into being.
