The Marsh Harrier in Norwich is a country pub and restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. The picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on the menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing the bar.
The Marsh Harrier was originally known as The King of Prussia in 1840, when it was a small cafe with tea garden. The building was later run as an inn until war broke out in 1914 when its name was changed to the George IV. After a £1m refurbishment the name was changed once more to The Marsh Harrier to reflect the rural surroundings and proximity to the River Yare.
Enjoy a spot by the roaring log-fire or make the best of the British summertime by eating alfresco in the pretty beer garden.

What our members say about The Marsh Harrier, Norwich - Vintage Inns
2nd visit to the Marsh Harrier in two weeks. This time with friends. Excellent service and food. Great 25% discount off the total bill for the 4 of us. I would recommend the Marsh Harrier and no doubt we will return.
Gourmet Card was readily accepted for 25% discount off drinks and food. The menu was not vast but offered a good enough range of meals. The restaurant had a nice feel in terms of atmosphere and decor. Service and food were both excellent. We will certainly revisit.
