The Park Gate Inn in Hollingbourne is a country pub and restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. The picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on the menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing the bar.

The inn is named after the gate that once led into Leeds Castle Park in the mid nineteenth century. Leeds Castle has been home to royalty, lords and ladies for over a thousand years. Park Gate was a small hamlet at that time and was served by the inn that has a 16th century building at its core.

Enjoy a spot by the roaring log-fire or make the best of the British summertime by eating alfresco in the pretty beer garden.

What our members say about The Park Gate Inn, Hollingbourne - Vintage Inns

Gary W.

Maidstone

Very friendly staff but you may have to wait for your drinks whether you go to the bar yourself or order it through the waitress as they never seem to have quite enough staff on. Food is good, the gammon especially, but why do you have a choice of pineapple OR egg, why not both? How much does one egg cost?. The Thursday pies are also very good.

James T.

Really nice food in very pleasant surroundings and very friendly staff. Good choice of food and drinks.
